Trachten loferl or stockings: the perfect companion for your lederhosen

Classic Trachten socks are an essential part of every men's Lederhosen outfit. However, you'll quickly notice that there are not only traditional knee-high socks but also Loferl socks. These are quite different from regular socks. A Loferl typically consists of two separate parts: the lower sock, which is worn like a short footie, and the upper part, which wraps around the widest part of your calves. Classic Loferl are exclusively worn with short Lederhosen, whereas traditional knee-high Trachten socks can also be paired with knee-length Lederhosen.
